Semanur AKPINAR, who has been treated for TYP-1 Diabetes for 2 weeks in the Pediatric Endocrine ward in Diyarbakır Obstetrics and Pediatrics Additional Service Building and turned 11 years old, is one of our Hospital administrators, Assistant Chief Physician, Exp. Dr. Sevda YELEÇ , Exp. Dr. Berat ÇOLAK and our Deputy Director of Quality Support Services Tarkan YILMAZ, along with the service nurses and our hospital dieticians Mazlum KAÇAR, Deniz HAZAR and Batu ERSAVAŞ, Semanur, who has TYPE-1 diabetes, and his younger brother Furkan, who is hospitalized with the same diagnosis, were given special carbohydrates because they have diabetes. They gave their gifts to Semanur and her younger brother Furkan with a surprise birthday celebration with a cake made by the teacher's house, calculated in accordance with the census.
Our assistant chief physician, Specialist Dr. Sevda YELEÇ, who gave information about the patient, said about Semanur, who was hospitalized in our hospital for Type-1 diabetes and received type-1 diabetes treatment in our pediatric diabetes service, “Semanur thanked her and her younger brother Furkan when she learned that it was our daughter and her birthday. As a hospital, we wanted to surprise him,” he said.
